About the Role
The main purpose of this role is to support the service delivery by taking responsibility for the quality and standards of FM services within a portfolio of retail stores/countries in the North Americas region for a major international retail Client.
Main Job Responsibilities
Health and Safety
- Ensure a Safety-First approach to all operations.
- QHSE responsibility to ensure Macro systems and processes are followed, and where necessary escalate H&S risks to the client.
- Ensure compliance with legislation, Macro processes and life safety procedures.
Vendor Management
- Vendor management of technical and cleaning services.
- Ensure value for money is achieved through robust management of suppliers.
- Manage and monitor vendor performance against established KPI’s, SLA’s and task resolution priorities.
- Maintain the quality and standards of FM delivery via an agreed audit process.
- Attend quarterly business reviews with suppliers and escalate supplier issues to the supply chain manager & account lead.
Customer Service & Service Delivery
- Carry out 3 audits a year in the defined ‘Key Cities’.
- Support the delivery of FM services with site/vendor visits when required.
- Visit stores where critical issues are disrupting business continuity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve service delivery issues when they arise.
- Take ownership and action to support service co-ordinators’ escalations.
- Maintain helpdesk, asset registers, shared drive and O&Ms to reflect all stores and refurbishment activity.
- Keep asset registers updated and highlight asset risks and opportunities with suppliers.
- Train and coach coordinators.
Business Development and Relationship Management
- Lead and support new store openings from pre-construction hand over.
- Take responsibility for store refits and closures.
- Attend final hand over meetings for new and refurbished stores.
- Compile reports with supporting data for key decisions for client review.
- Identify best practises across stores and vendors and present these back to the client and work on the implementation process
- Proactively manage and develop the relationship with the client for all aspects within the role and ensure significant interactions are logged in the CRM system.
- Have a good understanding of the contractual requirements and ensure the change control process is followed if client engages Macro in any out-of-scope work.
- Ensure regional management processes and procedures are documented and kept up to date.
About You
The job holder will have the following experience, knowledge & skills:
- Degree level education in relevant field is required.
- FM management experience, including managing contracts and suppliers.
- Demonstrated experience in managing third-party suppliers and stakeholder relationships.
- Experience with outsourced FM providers is highly desirable.
- Experience in the retail sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel.
- Experience with online purchase order management software packages.
- Familiarity with raising Purchase Orders, tracking expenditure and using helpdesk and finance packages.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Approachable and committed to working as part of a team.

Salary 100,000 to 120,000 USD Annually
