What You Will Do
- Manage inventory flow—track, receive, and allocate stock efficiently.
- Ensure accurate records, conduct audits, and resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate shipments and collaborate with warehouse, sales, and production teams.
- Partner with suppliers and customers to forecast demand and optimize stock levels.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and administrative support for seamless operations.
- Drive process improvements and implement best practices.
- In this onsite role, timely attendance, commitment to our customers, and a positive outlook are key.
- Weekly work hours from June through March are 7:00am-3:30pm.
- Ability to work overtime, extended hours, and some Saturdays (7:00am-noon) during the spring fertilizer season (April-May).
- Full accountability and ownership of all assigned tasks.
- Develop a solid understanding of products that are produced, shipped and received at microSource.
- Inventory management, with an emphasis on diligent attention to detail.
- Understand and participate in the company’s confidentiality policy.
- No travel is required for this position.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Possess great attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy coupled with the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently, recall information, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically with Excel.
- Previous experience with an ERP such as SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, etc. is a plus.
- Ability to communicate complex situations clearly and multi-task with other team members.
- Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience in inventory coordination with strong knowledge of inventory management systems and procedures required.
- Experience in project management and process development desired.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work well in a team environment
