Mad Fish Digital is seeking a Senior Employee Experience Manager who will play a key role in providing an elevated experience for our employees. In this role, you will be a champion for our team's success and well-being, fostering an equitable, inclusive, and supportive work environment where everyone can thrive.

This role will assist the leadership team with integrating the Mad Fish employee experience processes with that of its recently acquired partner, Grady Britton. As the point of contact for all aspects of employee experience, you will have the unique opportunity to influence our combined team's growth, engagement, and satisfaction.

  • You have experience developing and implementing change management strategies
  • You can effectively influence and partner with senior leadership
  • You understand how to navigate complex organizational dynamics during periods of change
  • You are an excellent communicator and excel at leading meetings ranging from 1 : 1s with employees to reporting to executive-level individuals
  • You look for new ways to improve processes and policies to benefit the needs of employees and the company
  • You can navigate a wide range of benefit types and platforms
  • You are proficient in using HRIS and performance management tools, leveraging them to streamline processes and enhance employee experience
  • You have an excellent working knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations governing employment policies and practices
  • You make thoughtful decisions that balance company policies, organizational values, and individual needs
  • You are highly organized, able to effectively coordinate schedules, document key conversations, and track deadlines
  • You thrive in collaborative environments, bringing a creative and solutions-focused mindset to your work
  • You perform well in fast-paced settings, with strong prioritization and time management skills
  • You have 6-8 years of experience in human resources
  • Past experience managing organizational change initiatives
  • Past experience with post-merger integration and culture alignment strongly preferred
  • Past experience in an agency environment and / or marketing is highly desirable, but not required

Key Responsibilities

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the main point of contact for all employee experience and HR-related questions and needs
  • Support the company's team integration, team-building, and culture-planning initiatives
  • Partner with leadership to develop and execute post-merger integration strategies
  • Lead change management communications and initiatives
  • Lead and facilitate the employee onboarding experience including hiring, HR documentation, and team integration
  • Provide strategic guidance to leadership on organizational design and effectiveness
  • Cultivate positive, collaborative working relationships with each employee
  • Facilitate the hiring process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and collaborating with department managers to extend employment offers
  • Facilitate the employee offboarding experience including plans of improvement discussions, termination, and documentation
  • Conduct regular meetings with employees across the company to gather feedback, foster open communication, and identify opportunities to enhance the employee experience
  • Identify employee experience gaps and work collaboratively with leadership to develop systems as needed
  • Facilitate the performance review process through 15Five, ensuring a seamless experience for employees and managers while promoting a culture of growth, feedback, and development
  • Lead with objectivity, equity, inclusivity and practicality in all situations
  • Manage the company's suite of employee benefits and assist employees with questions
  • Develop metrics and reporting to track integration success and employee sentiment
  • Ensure Mad Fish Digital adheres to the federal and state employment laws relevant to the company
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to communicate and implement any compensation adjustments or 401(k) changes, ensuring accuracy and timely updates
  • Create and maintain all employment files including performance reviews, benefits and legal documentation

    The starting base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000 , depending on past experience. Annual compensation reviews are a part of the management process at Mad Fish Digital.
