PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:

The IT Tech operates under the direction of the IT Manager to perform hardware and software maintenance operations, hardware and software upgrades, diagnosis and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and process problems, to provide user support, and to perform other duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

· Must have excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

· Must have strong technical skills including working knowledge of computer hardware and software including Windows 10, Windows 11, MS Office applications, networking, and infrastructure.

· Must possess troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software problems, specifically the ability to methodically approach problems while interfacing professionally with affected users and departments and documenting within helpdesk and inventory systems.

· Must possess high-level critical and strategic thinking skills and be able to develop solutions for complex problems.

· Must have valid CA driver’s license, Vehicle Insurance, personal transportation, cell phone, and computer as some work may occur remotely or at off campus clinics.
