Maddens is currently seeking a full-time I.T. Support Technician who will support the director in the maintenance of the Resorts technology-based information systems.
- Triage and/or resolve end-user problems within scope of responsibility.
- Handle Help Desk request in alignment with service level agreements.
- Maintain updated asset management records
- Assist end users with troubleshooting and resolving desktop, network and application related problems including problems with passwords, printers, email, phones and hospitality software.
- Work with hardware and software vendors as directed.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Performs other duties as required.
Skills and Abilities:
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, etc. preferred.
- Must understand installation, configuration and troubleshooting processes for software, hardware, networking, and accessory equipment.
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP, firewalls, Active Directory, MS Office Applications.
- Requires sufficient analytical skills to assess problems or unusual situations and develop solutions.
- Requires ability to independently perform all duties for the position effectively.
- Must be able to install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain all the software applications and peripheral equipment used at the resort.
- Must have strong communication and training skills and be able to communicate technical information to non-technical users.
- Maintains a pro-active can-do attitude.
Education/Experience:
- Position requires an AA/AS degree in computer related field plus two years relevant experience; or the combination of education and experience that enables performance of all aspects of the position.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not require any supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment.
Physical Demands:
Primarily stationery such as sitting or standing for prolonged periods of time. Must have the ability to stand, walk, talk/hear, both in person and by telephone, occasionally required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 50 pound boxes and items sometimes repeatedly.
Expected Hours of Work:
8:00am 4:30pm Monday through Friday.
Travel:
Less than 10% travel required.
