- 8:30am -5:00pm
- $40 - $50/hour depending on experience
- Fully on-site
- 3 month position
We are seeking a skilled Document Control Consultant to help manage and streamline documentation processes.
Job Summary:
- The Document Control Consultant will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining effective document control systems and processes.
- This role involves ensuring that all documents are accurately controlled, accessible, and compliant with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement document control procedures and workflows.
- Ensure all documents are properly categorized, tracked, and archived.
- Conduct regular audits of document control processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather documentation requirements and provide support.
- Train staff on document control procedures and best practices.
- Manage the electronic document management system and troubleshoot any issues.
- Assist in the preparation and review of technical documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Support projects in the creation of templates, forms, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and best practices related to document control.
- Provide guidance on document retention policies and practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in document control or records management, preferably in the food industry.
- Strong understanding of document control standards (e.g., ISO 9001, FDA, etc.).
- Proficient in document management software and tools.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in document control or records management (e.g., ISO 9001, ARMA).
- Experience with electronic document management systems
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and quality management systems.
