Madden Industrial Craftsman is looking for an experienced Plant Electrician with an Oregon License to lead a team for their client who specializes in aerospace and industrial engineering, jet aircraft engines, airframes, industrial gas turbine (IGT) engines, military armaments, medical prosthesis, and a diverse array of industrial markets.
This client is located in Portland, Oregon.

Key Responsibilities :
Electrical System Maintenance : Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Installation : Install new electrical components and systems, including wiring, control panels, and sensors, following blueprints, schematics, and manufacturer specifications.
Repairs : Diagnose and repair electrical faults in a timely manner, minimizing downtime and preventing production interruptions.
Safety Compliance : Adhere to all safety protocols, electrical codes, and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
Documentation : Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and modifications, and update electrical schematics as needed.
Collaboration : Work closely with other maintenance staff, engineers, and production teams to resolve electrical issues and improve system reliability.
Emergency Response : Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and perform necessary repairs to restore operations quickly.
Continuous Improvement : Participate in training and development opportunities to stay current with industry standards and best practices.
Qualifications :
Education : High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in Electrical Technology or a related field preferred.
Experience : Minimum of 3 years of experience as an industrial electrician, with experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment highly desirable.
Skills :
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control circuits, and industrial machinery.
Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic tools.
Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Certifications : Valid PJ or General electrician’s license for Oregon
Physical Requirements :
Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and tools.
Capable of standing, kneeling, and working in confined spaces for extended periods.
Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions, including noisy and potentially hazardous areas.
Salary : $42 - $55
