Maddens is currently seeking the position of seasonal Adventure Cove Attendant the position is designed to service Maddens social guests Kids and families through the coordination and implementation of activities using resort resources.
- Checking kids in and out of the children program center.
- To ensure the safety of the children entrusted to us by their families.
- Help and promote Adventure Cove agenda.
- Maintaining and ensuring a safe and clean working environment.
- Work with parents to get feedback on the quality of activities offered.
- Follow the lesson plan and agenda for the day.
- Assists Recreation department at the Tennis and Croquet Club when needed.
- Help kids make new friends and include everyone in activities.
- Excellent communication skills, both with colleagues and guests.
- Should have a strong sense of multi-tasking and organizational skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of the whole resort.
- Ability to deliver a high level of professional standards, with assistance from the Employee Guidelines.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Any other task assigned from Adventure Cove manager or Recreation Director
Skills and Abilities:
- Must be able to keep a calm, professional manner under stressful situations.
- Maintains a proactive Can Do attitude.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to effectively manage time and complete all delegated work within the specified time.
- Ability to work in a team and coordinate work functions with fellow workers.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Recreation or relevant experience.
- Valid Drivers License
Supervisory Responsibilities:
No Supervisory Responsibilities.
Work Environment:
Work is performed mainly at our Adventure Cove building but may be outside at pools.
Physical Demands:
Primarily stationery such as sitting or standing for prolonged periods of time. Must have the ability to stand, walk, talk/hear, both in person and by telephone, occasionally required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 50-pounds and items sometimes repeatedly.
Expected Hours of Work:
Varying work schedule during summer months including nights and weekends.
Travel:
Less than 10% travel required.
