WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations for our growing company. This role is essential in ensuring the company's financial health and stability.

As the Controller, you will:

• Financial Oversight: Manage all aspects of accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Financial Analysis: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Strategic Insight: Develop and implement financial strategies (e.g. provide insights, reduce costs, boost profitability) aligned with company objectives.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes across all Departments.
• Collaborate: Collaborate with other departments to drive business growth and profitability.
• Financial Modeling: Build and maintain financial models to help with strategic decision-making and evaluate cost-benefit of investments and other strategic initiatives.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirements with lenders and government institutions.
• Data Management: Maintain accurate financial records to ensure data integrity across organization.
• Lead: Lead and develop the finance team and partners.
• Special Projects: help with strategic initiatives and projects including, ad hoc project management and analysis, market research, facilities management, and other vital projects.
• Administrative Support: support the Executive Team with record keeping, contract management, HR and payroll administration to guarantee consistent administrative operations.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems (e.g. Quickbook, gSheets)
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
• Experience within Retail, ecommerce industries a plus.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite, Fulfil.IO) a plus.
