- Looking for P/T employee to work 20-25 hours per week
- Shifts: Afternoon-closing shifts, weekend shifts
- Hours of Operation: M-Th: 7am-8pm, Fri-Sat: 7am-10pm, Sun: 7am-6pm
Duties
- Provide excellent customer service to our customers
- Lead with positivity and professional communication
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards
- Operate cash registers and manage cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas to ensure a pleasant environment for customers
- Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions about menu items
- Perform food preparation tasks as needed, including preparing baked goods and snacks for sale
- Utilize Square POS system to process orders efficiently and manage inventory levels
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours while managing time effectively
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines in all aspects of food handling, use FIFO guidelines to keep stock areas rotated and fresh
Qualifications
- 1 year of customer service required
- 1 year of Barista experience strongly preferred
- Bartending experience is nice to have, but not required
- Strong cash handling skills with basic math proficiency for accurate transactions
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers
- Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with Square POS or similar cash register systems is advantageous but not mandatory
- Ability to work evenings & weekends
