Made to Order Holdings is a privately owned franchisee of the Whataburger family, and we’re new to the Atlanta area. We’re looking for motivated leaders that can grow with our brand. We’re hiring a Senior Accountant who will carry on the legacy of Whataburger’s bold flavors and commitment to customer service.
Our Senior Accountant is primarily responsible for focusing on supporting the business’s operations, maintaining and reconciling general ledger and bank accounts, maintaining, supporting, and reconciling store financial systems, and creating and implementing critical financial operational control procedures. The role leads the way to providing a clear picture of the operational and financial performance of the company.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
- 5 years’ operational accounting experience required, preferably within multi-location restaurant, retail, or hospitality industry
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable experience
- Understanding of general ledger systems, Point of Sale systems, and above-store systems is essential; experience with payroll platforms is a plus
- A working knowledge of GAAP is required
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record is required.
- Ability to record and reconcile all journal entries for multiple restaurant locations and intercompany allocations
- Monitor processes for potential optimization through fiscal periods to communicate potential improvements to accounting leadership
- Prepare individual and combined financial statements
- Provide insights/guidance into costs, revenue, and opportunities for financial improvements
- Track and monitor fixed assets, manage depreciation, retirement and disposal, and main records
- Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors
- Reconciliation of revenue and file sales/use tax returns
- Analyze and report food, labor, and operational costs for each location
- Assist in developing budgets and forecasts
