Madelia Health is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Patient Services / Rehab Patient Services Representative to be the welcoming face for our patients and the helpful voice on the other end of the phone.
This is a key front-line position that ensures every patient interaction is positive and professional—whether it’s in our clinic, hospital, or rehab departments.
What You’ll Do:
Greet and assist patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism
Answer phones, triage calls, and schedule appointments
Complete patient registrations and verify insurance information
Maintain accurate patient records and obtain necessary consent forms
Collect payments and scan documentation into clinical systems
Work closely with our rehab team on scheduling, prior authorizations, chart prep, and treatment area maintenance
Support continuous quality improvement and compliance with HIPAA and other standards
What We’re Looking For:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience: Friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and ability to multitask across multiple providers and patients
Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Bonus points for prior experience in healthcare or medical office settings.
