The Role Purpose :
An Associate Merchant is responsible for helping to manage the execution of seasonal assortments, acting as point person for cross-functional business partners in production, marketing, design, allocation, and planning. They help to drive strategy for the categories they are managing.
- Build an on-trend Omni assortment with channel-specific strategies in mind
- Initiate market / competitor analysis and always be on top of industry trends
- Communicate changes to all cross-functional partners - planning, production, design and wholesale
- Participate in store visits
- Prepare and analyze Omni selling recaps to drive your business. Make recommendations on how to optimize current sales and affect future plans
- Partner with planning in pre-season to plan and buy your department based on comprehensive analysis of the business - last year results, current business, etc
- Participate in inventory management and control with planning and distribution teams
- Participate with pricing and profit strategies - make promotional and markdown suggestions to drive profitable gross margin results
- Review new receipts against business trend to maximize sales and stock

Salary Range : $64,200.00 - $77,000.00
