Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in childhood development and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our future generation, encouraging their growth through engaging activities and lessons.
- Responsibilities of showing to work on time at 7:00am for morning shift. Also, if work in the afternoon must be capable of showing up at 2:00pm for afternoon shift.
- Must be professional at all times and dressed appropriately but comfortably.
- Easily capable of doing work and cleaning.(sweeping, wiping down, maybe cleaning dishes, swiffering.)
- Easily capable of engaging with children and teaching them. Being able to watch the children as well.
- Turn in or email a Resume we can look at to review.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning in various subjects, including math and literacy.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that supports child welfare and development.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, utilizing positive reinforcement strategies to encourage good conduct.
- Assess children's progress through standardized testing and informal observations to tailor educational approaches.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development, needs, and achievements.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
- Maintain records of student progress and classroom activities to ensure compliance with educational standards.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in daycare or classroom settings is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Knowledge of standardized testing procedures related to early childhood education is a plus.
- A genuine passion for teaching and nurturing young minds.
