The Strategic Supply Management Specialist will provide purchase requisition processing support due to an influx in projects within northern region.
Job Functions & Responsibilities
- Prepare bid documents, price inquiries and addendums for all the various departments services contracts.
- Promote strict adherence to all Procurement and other applicable policies and procedures, and recommend modifications as needed.
- Ensure all required contract documents are in compliance and complete, and execute agreements, change orders, releases, etc.
- Assist with supporting all systems and tools required by Procurement activities, including but not limited to systems related to purchasing and contract management, third-party vendor management and reporting.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Working knowledge of materials and inventory management, logistics, quality assurance, quality control, maintenance and operations.
- Experience with SAP Procurement and Ariba.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance or equivalent work experience/training.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience with proven track record of achievement.
