About the position: This position is responsible for overseeing all daily operations in the Primary Care clinics including but not limited to personnel management, staff accountability and education, monitor and ensure patient satisfaction and represent the needs of the providers. This position requires exemplary attendance, punctuality, professionalism, the ability to pay attention to detail, cooperativeness with co-workers and supervisors, and politeness to customers, vendors, and patients.
- Supervises and oversees staffing needs of the clinics. Assesses and tracks performance of employees, discusses strategies for improvement and shares expectations for future performance. Completes performance evaluations on time. Coaches, trains, and develops employees, providing reinforcement and feedback. Delegates appropriately. Takes timely and appropriate corrective/disciplinary actions with employees. Communicates policies and procedures as well as important organization information.
- Works with Director to plan and implement process improvements, assists in setting goals and priorities. Meets compliance and regulatory requirements. Monitors the flow of work daily and makes appropriate schedule changes.
- Monitors patient satisfaction and accessibility. Responsible for resolving patient complaints. Represents the clinic in internal and external operational matters as required.
- Monitors utilization of equipment and supplies; orders supplies, and medication as needed. Maintains relationships and communicates with current product vendors.
- Credentials and re-credentials physicians in a timely manner. Works with providers to ensure all certifications, licensure and course requirements are complete on time.
- Treats patients and families with dignity and respect. Ensures confidentiality of patient records. Interacts professionally with patients and families and provides explanations and verbal reassurance as necessary.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience preferred. Three to five years of experience in physician office management. Candidates must possess the ability to work with providers in a collaborative manner. Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, leadership and customer service skills. Basic knowledge of computers. Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English. Demonstrates flexibility, ability to multi-task and effective organizational and interpersonal skills. Be open to constructive criticism and effective in holding people accountable.
