About the Job
Madison Energy Infrastructure (“MEI”) believes in the power of clean energy infrastructure and has quickly emerged as a preeminent developer, investor, asset owner, and operator of distributed generation. This role represents a critical next step in MEI’s evolution toward offering direct, end-to-end services to Fortune 500 corporates, public entities, nonprofits, and other private customers alike.
- Assisting with drafting and managing diligence checklists and transaction summaries for clean energy projects.
- Assisting with tracking progress on term sheets.
- Working closely with other members of the team to gain insight into various financial structures and tax incentives.
- Assisting with additional ad-hoc projects as needed.
- A rising undergraduate Junior or Senior.
- Interest and/or experience in trading, customer service, or operations.
- Creative problem solving.
- Interest in the solar industry.
- Interest in working in a team environment and learning about the energy industry with real-life work experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Energetic and ready to tackle new projects and ideas.
- Hands-on, with careful attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Hard-working and able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Deadline oriented.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to build strong interpersonal relationships.
Compensation: $30 per hour
Location & Hours: This is a hybrid intern role that is based in our New York City office, with a required 40-hours per week; 4 days in office and 1 day remote.
