We are seeking passionate, Certified Medication Technicians to join our dedicated team of professionals who are committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents, their families, and our community.
About the Role :
Madison Health and Rehabilitation is looking for a motivated, compassionate, and energetic Certified Medication Technician to join our outstanding team. In this full-time role, you'll work closely with the Director of Nursing, Nurse Managers, RNs, and LPNs to provide the highest quality care to our residents, ensuring their safety while administering medications and monitoring vital signs. You will also support and guide nursing assistants in their work.
Key Responsibilities :
- Administer medications as prescribed by a physician, under the supervision of a licensed nurse, while adhering to state and federal regulations and facility policies.
- Record all medications administered to residents in their specific charts.
- Notify appropriate licensed staff if a resident reports pain.
- Take and record vital signs as assigned or required by specific medications.
- Accurately document medication administration and treatments using the facility's computer system.
