Purpose of Position: This position will support the Summer Semester program at MMSD and will be the initial point of contact for families and staff members on the phone and via email, especially during the summer semester enrollment process. This position will help with enrolling students for Summer Semester, answering questions, routing phone calls, and making changes to student enrollment information, as well as other tasks vital to the success of the Summer Semester program. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for families and staff members regarding MMSD Summer Semester (via telephone, and email).
- Provide excellent customer service to families and staff by answering questions about Summer Semester and supporting them in the enrollment process.
- Coordinate communication to Summer Semester families and schools.
- Organize and pack materials for summer sites.
- Organization of information for summer.
- Work with the Enrollment Department to schedule students in summer semester courses.
Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is strongly desired.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and Google Suite (Google Docs, Sheets, Gmail).
- Experience in an office setting (answering phones, email, communication apps).
- March 31, 2025 - June 27, 2025
- Monday-Friday, 7:00-3:30 pm (Up to 8 hours/day depending on workload, with a 30 minute duty free lunch)
- Workspace: Doyle Administration Bldg & Tompkins Warehouse
