POSITION
Therapy Aide, Outpatient, 40hrs/week

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for assisting occupational/physical/speech therapists and therapist assistants to provide rehabilitative and technical care to the patient under the direction of licensed personnel.
• Responsible for safely escorting patients to and from therapy.
• Provide support to outpatient secretary and outpatient service specialists.
• Responsible for assisting with maintaining a clean and safe environment including monitoring equipment and supplies.
• Work will be performed in an ethical and legal manner following organizational policies, processes, protocols and procedures.
• Responsible for quality service delivery and internal/external customer relations for Madonna as a whole, including upholding the mission and values for the department and facility.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Must have high school level knowledge with basic reading, writing, and communication skills.
• 1-2 years’ experience as a physical therapy aide preferred.
• CPR for Health Care Provider/CPR for Professional Rescuer required at time of hire or within 30 days from date of hire.
• Incumbent must be 18 years of age or older.
• May be required to drive a motor vehicle.
• If required to drive, must have current valid driver’s license, must submit a copy of current driver’s abstract reflecting a good driving record, and have the required mobility needed to drive.
