EH&S Supervisor – Leola, AR
Description:
This position involves working with team members to develop an EH&S culture, ensuring environmental compliance and reducing workplace injuries.
What will you do:
- Provide ongoing support to members and leadership in identifying workplace hazards, incident reporting and investigation, and developing a comprehensive safety program.
- Assist the EH&S Manager in leading EH&S programs.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA General Industry Standards and Company Standards.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations and policies.
- Facilitate EH&S training for all members.
- Measure progress towards meeting EH&S targets and objectives.
- Report and record EH&S data in a timely manner.
- Provide triage and first aid in the event of injury to a team member or contractor.
- Contribute to health screening processes, health education programs, OSHA recordkeeping, hearing conservation processes, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the EH&S Manager.
Minimum qualifications:
- Experience in EH&S within a manufacturing environment (lumber-related preferred).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Access, Word, etc.).
- Understanding of facilitating a successful EH&S program.
- Ability to present and train team members.
- Proactive and enthusiastic with effective leadership skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced computer skills, including MS Office software.
Salary : $75,000 - $100,000
