Performance Team handles end-to-end warehousing and distribution logistics needs utilizing our strategic network of storage facilities. Our facilities are capable of receiving, storing, processing and dispatching cargo, so we can build flexibility and resilience into the supply chain process. Our integrated solutions allow us to be prepared for supply chain risks, so we can plan distribution to better achieve lead time and goals despite unexpected conditions. Oversee food safety and quality compliance across multiple cold storage sites, ensuring adherence to BRCGS standards, local regulations, and company policies.
Key Duties:
- Implement, maintain, and improve food safety management systems in line with BRCGS requirements.
- Plan and conduct internal audits, prepare for external BRCGS certification audits, and address non-conformances.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate food safety risks, including HACCP plan development and validation.
- Design and deliver training programs on BRCGS standards and food safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records, including policies, procedures, and audit report
- Ensure suppliers meet BRCGS and company food safety standards through audits.
- Stay informed of regional food safety laws and integrate updates into practices.
- Investigate food safety incidents, and develop preventative measures.
- Work with production, quality assurance, and senior management to align food safety objectives with business goals.
- Provide regular updates on food safety performance metrics and improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in food science, Microbiology, Environmental Health, or related field.
- Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., BRCGS Auditor, HACCP certification) are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years in food safety or quality assurance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role. Proven track record in managing BRCGS compliance.
- Knowledge of BRCGS standards, HACCP, and food safety management systems
- Familiarity with ISO 22000 is an advantage.
- Strong communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in risk assessment, and corrective action planning.
- Experience in the food storage
- Certification as a BRCGS Professional or equivalent.
- Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Working Conditions:
- Occasional work outside regular hours.
- Exposure to production environments, including cold storage or processing areas.
- This position requires travel, up to and exceeding 30%

Pay Range:
$90,000-$100,000*
*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
