Maesa is looking for a Customer Development Analyst to support our growing portfolio at Target, including brands like Kristin Ess, Being Frenshe, Fine’ry., MIX:BAR, and more. This role plays a key part in driving business growth through data-driven insights, cross-functional collaboration, and operational excellence. Reporting to the Director of Customer Development, Target, you will analyze sales trends, manage key retail processes, and support strategic initiatives to optimize performance at Target. Responsibilities
$80K/yr - $90K/yr. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This position is eligible for participation in a discretionary bonus plan based on individual and company performance.

Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Target Customer Development team and cross-functional partners to enable achievement of the annual performance goals within the organizational strategies and objectives across accelerating brands such as Kristin Ess, Being Frenshe, Fine’ry., MIX:BAR, and more
- Identify trends, develop insights, & translate findings to drive improved business performance for Maesa & Target
- Self-starter that thrives on using data to make insightful business decisions
- Facilitate new business analysis tools, new item set up, item management, sample coordination, display set up, and contract management
- Support efforts to operationalize new category relationships holistically across Target departments.
- Work closely with other functions (Marketing/Planning/Operations) to ensure optimum customer service levels and guest purchasability.
- Miscellaneous ad-hoc research and data analysis projects in the beauty category
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing, or Finance related field
- 1-3 years of experience preferred
- Experience working with Target or in merchandising, retail, or buying is a plus.
- Previous roles and responsibilities relating to analytics required (inclusive of internships)
- Thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-moving environment
- Proficiency in Excel and other analytical tools to track performance, identify opportunities, and optimize sales strategies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Motivated, pro-active, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- A passion for the beauty industry and a deep curiosity of consumer trends and behaviors in the beauty space.
- Ideal experience with: new item setup, contracts, and sample management. Experience in Target Partners Online including Vendor IQ, Pegasus, LaunchPad, and Item Management tools are highly preferred but not required.
