We are currently seeking a full-time Customer Service and Supply Chain Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role will primarily serve as a liaison between customers, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring smooth communication, excellent service, and efficient supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Liaison: Act as the primary contact between customers, suppliers, and management to enhance overall customer satisfaction.
  • Order Management: Receive and enter customer orders into the ERP system and ensure accurate processing.
  • Sales Forecasting: Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales forecasts to the Operations team for production and shipment scheduling.
  • Complaint Resolution: Address and manage customer complaints, providing timely and effective resolutions.
  • Customer Follow-Up: Track proposed resolutions and follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
  • Customer Onboarding: Manage new customer and item requirements, including the completion of necessary forms (new customer forms, credit applications, EDI setup).
  • Master Data Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date Customers and Products Master Data files.
  • International Supply Chain Support: Assist with international supply chain tasks, including placing orders with foreign suppliers and ensuring shipping, customs clearance, USDA inspections, and receiving are handled correctly.
  • Shipment Tracking: Monitor the progress of goods ordered, ensuring timely delivery and addressing any delays or issues.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in a customer service or supply chain role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
    • Knowledge of ERP systems, EDI platforms, and customer online portals.
    • Some knowledge of logistics and shipping processes is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
    • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication abilities.
    • Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
    • Order and inventory management skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Ability to quickly learn proprietary software.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Language:
    • Fluency in Italian as a second language is a plus.
