Job Description
As the Director of Relationship Management, you will serve as a senior leader, optimizing our client engagement strategy, overseeing a portfolio of high-net-worth families and ensuring the highest standards of service delivery. You will be responsible for developing deep client relationships, driving business growth, and enhancing operational efficiency across client engagements.
This leadership role requires a dynamic professional with a strong background in family office services, wealth management, or financial advisory. You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients while also managing and mentoring a team of relationship managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Client Leadership: Act as the senior relationship lead for key clients, proactively identifying their evolving needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Business Development & Growth: Identify and capitalize on opportunities to expand client relationships, deepen service offerings, and enhance Trove’s market presence.
- Client Satisfaction and Retention: Proactively addressing client needs, resolving issues, and fostering strong relationships through regular communication and strategic engagement.
- Team Leadership & Development: Mentor and oversee a team of relationship managers, ensuring a high standard of client service and professional development.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams—including tax, financial operations, lifestyle and external teams—estate planning and investment professionals—to provide integrated financial solutions.
- Client Advocacy & Risk Management: Ensure client satisfaction, mitigate risks, and navigate complex financial scenarios with strategic foresight.
- Industry Thought Leadership: Stay ahead of market trends and regulatory changes, providing clients with strategic insights and thought leadership.
- Operational Excellence: Optimize internal processes to enhance efficiency and service delivery, contributing to the firm’s overall growth and success.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced certifications (e.g., CFP, CPA, CFA, or MBA) strongly preferred.
- 15 years of experience in relationship management, family office services, private banking, or wealth management.
- Proven leadership experience, including team management and client strategy development.
- Strong business development acumen with a track record of expanding client relationships.
- Expertise in financial services technology, CRM systems, and operational best practices.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
