Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Admin with accounting experience to support our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy of financial records and compliance with relevant regulations, including SOX and Securities law. The Accountant will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.
Duties
- Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with SOX regulations and Securities law requirements.
- Conduct tax preparation and filing as necessary, ensuring adherence to applicable laws.
- Utilize Xero accounting software for various accounting tasks and reporting.
- Analyze financial data to support corporate accounting functions and decision-making.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide insights on financial concepts and performance metrics.
Experience
- Proven experience in accounting or related field, with a strong understanding of financial concepts.
- Familiarity with corporate accounting practices and procedures.
- Experience with journal entries, accounts payable, tax preparation, and financial report writing.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey financial information.
