Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee logistics operations, ensuring timely delivery of products to customers.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock movements.
- Analyze logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Collaborate with distribution centers to optimize shipping schedules and reduce lead times.
- Conduct root cause analysis on logistical issues to implement effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and other logistics-related documentation.
- Support e-commerce initiatives by ensuring that order fulfillment processes are efficient and customer-focused.
- Work closely with MRP systems to ensure accurate forecasting and inventory management.
Skills
- Proficiency in data management and reporting.
- Strong understanding of logistics principles, including distribution center operations.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies to enhance efficiency in logistics workflows.
