In addition, they resolve delivery-related customer service issues, ensure that customer’s unique shipments requirements and accurate shipment documentation is completed by following applicable regulations and SHL Pharma corresponding SOP’s and QWI’s.

Main Responsibilities
- Supervisory Responsibilities: No supervisory responsibilities for this Position.
- Responsible to follow all applicable SOP’s and QWI’s, and GMP principles always.
- Ensure efficient and cost-cost effective movement of goods and services, optimizing logistics processes and minimizing transportation cost.
- Track shipments and update status, providing real-time visibility and ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Develop relationships with carriers, negotiating rates and contracts to secure reliable and cost-effective transportation services.
- Resolve customer service issues related to delivery, addressing concerns and providing solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, stay updated on industry standards, and maintain proper documentation.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the supply chain, identifying opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction.
- Work collaboratively with other SHL Pharma departments to ensure timely delivery of goods, promoting cross-functional communication alignment.
- Ensure that unique client shipment documentation and requirements are accurate and completed in a timely manner before shipments are scheduled for pick up.
- Escalates any issues that may affect the delivery of the inbound/outbound shipments process with the corresponding SHL Pharma department.
- Monitor and report on logistics performance, analyzing key metrics and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Reports any transportation product damages to warehouse manager/supervisor and opens a damage in transit product claims with involved transportation company.
- Identify incoming shipments with corresponding SAP label, and updates product status in SAP system.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent college degree preferred. Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a degree of combination of training and experience may be acceptable.
- Previous knowledge-training of GMP’s good manufacturing practices, GDP’S good documentation practices preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of logistics concepts in a pharmaceutical distribution environment for both domestical and international markets.
- Adaptable to embrace changes and effectively adjusting strategies and approaches in response to changing SHl Pharma logistics evolution.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, experience of ERP systems SAP preferred.
- Experience in an FDA-regulated business
- Preferably at least 2 years’ experience in a pharmaceutical temperature-controlled logistics environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering effective collaboration and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and solid understanding of relevant regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organization to promote an effective logistics process.
