Position Summary
MAG Aerospace is looking to hire a Cybersecurity Engineer to join the team in Tobyhanna, PA. The role involves handling a range of cybersecurity tasks for a diverse network system encompassing servers, laptops, switches, and HAIPEs. The ideal candidate will be conducting cybersecurity verifications to support the Wideband Satellite Communication Operational Management System (WSOMS) subsystems. This role is 100% on-site at the Tobyhanna Army Depot
You must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or be eligible to obtain one
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Reviews all WSOMS subsystem Information Assurance-related documentation
Perform vulnerability assessments using approved Department of Defense scan and analysis tools
Provide Risk Management Framework Assessment and Authorization (RMF A&A) support
Maintain policy updates for Assured Compliance Assessment Solution Content Automation Protocol (ACAS), Nessus, and Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) scanning tools
Develop and update supporting system documentation and accreditation packages when applicable
Perform vulnerability / risk assessment analysis to support iOT, system accreditation and other program protection activities
Conduct technical evaluations of information system designs, focusing on information security aspects and accreditation
Monitor, evaluate, and maintain systems and procedures to safeguard information systems, networks, and databases
Maintain policy updates on ACAS and Trellix ePO
Ensure the readiness to commence test activities and review / check the data entry
Generate required reports to verify specific subsystem performance
Performs subsystem-specific cybersecurity installations and cybersecurity iOT to include backwards compatibility and full integration testing
Tests, implements, and maintains policy rules for Host Based Security System (HBSS) and implements daily updates for ePO antivirus definitions

Requirements
Knowledge and Skills
Knowledge of hardware and software installation, testing, and operation
Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, Domain Name System (DNS)
Ability to perform, read, review, and consolidate ACAS, SCAP, and Nessus scans
Experience performing, reading, and interpreting Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) results
Understanding of HBSS
Understanding of IP networking and switches
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to re-prioritize tasking on short notice and identify & communicate impact of change
Quick learner, creative, resourceful, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
Experience and Education
Minimum of 4 years cybersecurity experience in a professional role
Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity or similar field ( A H.S. Diploma will be considered for those with adequate experience )
Desired Qualifications
Thorough knowledge of the Department of Defense 8510.01 Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD Information Technology, DoD Instruction 8500.1 Cybersecurity, DoD Directive 8140.01, Cyberspace Workforce Management, NIST 800 Special Publications, Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS), and knowledge of current authorization practices, particularly within the DoD
Military experience / training in this field is a plus
DoD 8570 Compliance with IAT Level II or higher (i.e. Sec )
Other Requirements
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or the eligibility to obtain one
