Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee multiple construction projects at different stages of completion. The supervisor would oversee the final phases of completion for each construction project. The ideal candidate will manage resources, timelines, budgets, and deliver projects that meet high-quality standards while ensuring safety and compliance.This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Oversite: Manage the day-to-day operations of assigned construction projects.
- Plan and oversee all phases of construction projects, from pre-construction to close-out.
- Continuously assess the job site to ensure quality, safety and the status of every construction element.
- Maintain effective communication with company leadership, clients, subcontractors and project teams.
- Ensure adherence to all OSHA and Milestone safety procedures on all job sites.
- Communicate and instill a culture of safety with all field staff and subcontractors by conducting weekly tailgate safety meetings.
- Create and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress and address any delays or issues promptly.
- Ensure all work adheres to safety standards, building codes, and regulations.
- Prepare progress reports to stakeholders and leadership.
- Negotiate contracts, procure materials, and manage vendor relationships.
- Lead project teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
- Certifications: OSHA certification and first aid training are highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans. Familiarity with project management software is a plus.
- 5 years of actual in-field construction leadership experience.
- Extensive knowledge of construction methods, engineering principles/techniques and the ability to communicate this subject matter with others
- Project management expertise with the ability to manage budgets, deadlines and coordination of all facets of a project.
- Problem-solving with attention to detail.
Required:
- College education is preferred but not required.
- 5 years of experience in construction project management.
- Proven ability to manage projects on time and within budget.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, safety standards, and legal requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions
- Work primarily at construction sites, often outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- May require overtime, weekend, or evening work to meet project deadlines.
- Physical stamina is essential for overseeing activities across large job sites.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
