Job Title: Knockout - Wheelabrator
Position Summary
Magellan Aerospace, Glendale specializes in the manufacturing of precision magnesium and aluminum sand castings. We have an exciting opportunity for a Knockout / Wheelabrator Operator.

Job Title: Knockout - Wheelabrator
Position Summary
Magellan Aerospace, Glendale specializes in the manufacturing of precision magnesium and aluminum sand castings. We have an exciting opportunity for a Knockout / Wheelabrator Operator.
Essential Responsibilities
- Perform all vibrating operations to remove investment material from casting in preparation for finishing operation.
- Operate knockout equipment
- Operate vibrating machine to remove as complete as possible investment material from casting.
- Maintain identity of casting
- Uses hammers to knock off more areas that are resistant. Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Follow safety regulations
- Maintains or exceeds production rate with acceptable quality.
- If required, operate forklift to move heavy parts.
- Experience in foundry manufacturing environment preferred
- Lift and carry up to (50lbs)
- Willing to work in fast-pace and noisy environment
- Able to work in a team setting
- Knowledge in reading and interpreting work instructions
- Good communication skills
- Supportive PPEE for Loud noise, heat and dirt, steel-toed shoes, dust mask, and/or respirators and safety glasses are required.
