Title: Call Center / Medical Appointment Clerk. Onsite Only
Salary: $16.50/hr to $17.50/hr.
Location: Palm Coast Florida

Magellan Solutions USA is a bidding on a contract to provide 24/7/365 call center services to a well-known major government medical facility.
We are seeking Call Center / Medical Appointment Clerk candidates who have experience working in a medical call center environment.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate scheduling of clinical appointments.
- Verify appropriate healthcare enrollment in TRICARE.
- Verify that care is available at the designated Military Treatment Facility (MTF).
- Keep records of information received in conversations and add to the call center database.
- Maintain a working knowledge of Internal Call databases and phone trees.
- Proactively call patients with referrals
- Transfer calls to a “hot line” as needed.
Requirements:
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- At least 6 months experience in Medical Office Scheduling.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Technical experience including proficiency with Microsoft office, email, etc.
- Experience understanding and meeting performance requirements including SLA’s, KPI’s or metrics.
- Previous experience in a medical military environment is preferred.

Schedule:
- Multiple schedules available including day shift, evening shift and overnight shifts. Note – Overnight shifts receive a $1 per hour premium.
