Description
We are looking for a Director, Product Marketing to lead our product marketing strategy and function, and to build out a team of stellar product marketers. Our ideal candidate has built out a product marketing function from youth to a sophisticated, productive part of the org within a high-growth SaaS environment before - and they are are excited to do it again. Experience within fintech and financial services is helpful, but it's not required. This role reports into the CMO.
More importantly, we are looking for a thoughtful, empathetic, and content-driven product marketing leader who understands the complexities of scaling a SaaS offering. We need someone who appreciates the critical elements of working with sales, sales enablement, stakeholders, and - of course - our customers. This role is steeped in helping us to define our unique value proposition to our variety of personas, as well as raising the bar in every regard for our brand.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive product marketing strategy to drive awareness and adoption for across all of our audiences; ground decisions and recommendations in a key understanding of data and revenue opportunity
- Become an expert on our products, the market, and our customers in order to articulate product positioning, messaging, and value propositions
- Own the customer and market research agenda; Identify key customer segments and develop personas and be the voice of the customer
- Plan and execute product launches and releases, nailing our target audience, messaging, channel strategy, and measurement
- Increase product adoption and customer growth by collaborating with marketing, product, sales, client experience, and analytics to influence product roadmaps, improve sales win rates, improve feature usage, and increase funnel throughput
- Develop and nurture a high-performing Product Marketing team (currently 3 direct reports, with one head open for hiring), providing coaching, mentorship, professional development opportunities, and the leadership to foster a team that works better together than apart
Requirements
- 10-15 years product marketing experience in a SaaS environment, with ~5 years people management experience
- Proven track record of successfully planning, prioritizing, launching and releasing complex products and features, as well as hands-on experience with execution and post-launch
- Experience in a high-growth environment where you have defined the product marketing strategy, and scaled the team under your leadership
- Financial experience is nice to have but not required; more importantly is expertise working with a nimble, quickly-moving, scaling SaaS org with an eye on a dynamic future

- Compensation: $190,000 - $250,000 base salary, plus bonus, equity
- Office: On-site in our state-of-the-art new offices in Midtown Manhattan on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday; WFH on Monday/Friday
