Summary: The Sales and Events Specialist reports to the Director, Sales and Customer Programs and is a member of the Sales and Marketing team. They are motivated and inspired to create a best-in-class experience for business partners and as such, collaborating on strategy and execution of all global trade fairs, product development sessions, sales meetings, retailer events and press events. They are responsible for executing the go to market strategy and customer experience.
Mission: To create best- in-class customer events to drive brand engagement and sales of all labels.
Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Plans and executes the biannual bridal markets and sales meetings.
- Negotiates and secures all outside vendors to bring the vision and plans to life.
- Collaborates with Show, Marketing and Advertising teams to define creative direction for showrooms and runways (MSD and markets).
- Creates overall experiences to surprise and delight event attendees.
- Works with Advertising and Marketing teams to promote and drive traffic to markets.
- Works with Advertising to coordinate all visuals and assets needed for events.
- Coordinates with Warehouse and Design departments to ensure all gowns and necessary items are ready, packed and shipped on time.
- Leads all supportive staff and vendors to build out and execute the experience.
- Attends markets and supports the staff on show strategy execution on premise including but not limited to set-up/breakdown, dressing (fast paced/ hot environment), and logistics. Travel required.
- Reconciles performance, attendance, coverage, and budgets to assess success and recommend adjustments to strategy
- Facilitates and reconciles the Purchase Orders based on budget and reconciles credit card statements with appropriate budget codes. Monthly reconciliation of budgets.
- Positive contributor to the Sales and Marketing team.
- Acts as back up support for Pop Up, First Look, Unveiled and Curve events (special events) by liaising with the Sales Representative to gather requested styles, and working with existing inventory to select gowns and enter orders in GP from time to time as needed.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- 2 years of business-to-business event planning experience or similar experience
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
