CNC Programmer Job Description
Responsibilities
- Develop and design 3D models for CNC programs and files, for various machining operations including milling and turning processes.
- Interpret engineering drawings to create accurate CAD programs.
- Utilize CAM programming software to design and simulate machining processes.
- Set up CNC machines, including lathes and milling machines, ensuring they are calibrated for precision.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications
- High proficiency in AutoCAD, and other CAD & CAM software
- Ability to read and create detailed technical shop drawings.
- Strong knowledge of CNC machinery including lathes and milling machines.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $31.00 per hour
