We are seeking well-qualified individuals for a day time Line Maintenance Mechanic position (10 AM -6 PM, M-F, must be flexible to cover other shifts):
The Maintenance Technician keeps the plant and equipment in safe and efficient working order and provides for installation of any new equipment and basic remodeling needs. Preferred trade skills: Electrical, pneumonics, hydraulics, conveyers, hoists, forklift, machining, welding.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following duties. Other duties may be assigned
Maintains the highest possible technical machine uptime for the production floor.
Sets-up and repairs production equipment in the most effective and efficient way possible to keep operations running seamlessly.
Tracks, orders, and stocks all necessary replacement parts for production equipment.
Trains new maintenance employees.
Maintains a clean and organized work area.
Performs preventive maintenance on scheduled intervals.
Provides quick feedback to management on poor materials causing less than expected throughput.
Provides analysis or reporting on machine performance.
Pro-actively requests production plans and gets the production line set-up.
Ensures all GMP and safety programs are enforced and maintained.

Education and/or Experience
Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Manufacturing software; Word Processing software and Spreadsheet software.
