THE POSITION
Reporting to the General Manager, Human Resources Manager will have full responsibility and accountability for all human resource activities for the company. Additionally, the successful candidate will drive human capital management through the development and execution of a new strategic human resource plan. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources is a HR Generalist and HR Administrator.
The Director of Human Resources will be responsible for establishing human resources as a strategic functional partner throughout the organization. The successful candidate must have the ability to lead process improvement teams and be a strong “hands on” professional.Our client is seeking a proven human resource leader who can lead the organization to be an employer of choice within their community.
RESPONSILITITIES INCLUDE
Leadership Support – Consults with management to enhance employee performance, improve leadership skills, and implement HR related processes / procedures. Assists employees and work groups to implement new leadership / team skills as presented in company sponsored training, along with coaching and counseling individual employees.
Employee Relations – Ensures a positive and productive work environment for all employees, advises and trains managers, supervisors, and team leads in best employee relations practices and strategies for managing supervisor problems and employee concerns, conducts investigations and provides recommendations to resolve conflicts, guides managers and employees throughout the performance management and goal setting process, promotes employee satisfaction, engagement, and retention programs, provides guidance and support on workplace policies and procedures, responsible for monitoring employee morale, providing training and development, and working to ensure compliance with labor and employment laws.
Compliance - Responsible for management of employee records, and representing the company in unemployment, workers compensation, EEO, OSHA, ADA, FMLA, payroll, 401k, benefits, etc.
Benefits - Oversees administration of employee benefit and wellness programs. Administers company salaried compensation programs, ensuring proper utilization, performing periodic audits while providing training to all levels of management.
Business Strategy - Actively participates in the development of business strategy and direction with the General Manager and management team.
REQUIREMENTS
- BS degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or related field is required.
- An MBA degree is highly preferred.
- 10 years of human resource experience gained through increasingly responsible management positions is expected.
- Five (5) years of recent experience as a top Human Resources executive is preferred.
- Bilingual Spanish is required.
- Ability to work on-site at our facility in Aurora 5 days per week.

COMPENSATION
The Human Resources Manager will receive a competitive base salary, annual performance bonus, comprehensive health benefits that includes 401k, Medical, Dental, Vision, Employer paid Life Insurance, and annual paid holidays / vacation. In addition, a relocation package, consistent with company policy, will be available to the selected candidate if living outside a reasonable commuting distance.
