ARE YOU A GOOD FIT FOR THIS JOB?
This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You'll need to be willing and able to work overtime, participate in a rotating on-call schedule, and be available to work holidays as needed. Each day starts by reporting to a central location before heading out to your assigned job site. As an Assistant Carpet Technician, you will support the Lead or Senior Technician in performing high-quality carpet cleaning services at customer sites. You will use professional tools and equipment to execute a variety of cleaning techniques and ensure results meet company standards. You'll regularly interact with customers-answering questions, addressing concerns, and offering estimates with professionalism and courtesy. You'll also take the lead in guiding other assistant technicians and may flex into water damage restoration work when needed.

- Completion of Dewald Academy of Drying training
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 80 pounds and stand for up to 8 hours and sit for up to 6 hours
- Willingness to work in outdoor or non-climate-controlled environments as well as environments affected by microbial growth or sewage
- Ability to wear required PPE, including N-95 masks, respirators, and safety glasses
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Positive attitude and attention to detail
Leadership or mentoring experience is a plus. Experience in carpet cleaning or restoration is beneficial, too.
