Job Responsibilities: We are seeking a dedicated Supplier Quality Engineer – Mechanical Components to join our team. As SQE will be responsible for managing the accountability of assigned suppliers from the approval process to the end of life. This role involves following the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), and other Magna Electronics methods and standards from the release process, through serial production, service parts, until the products' end of life. Key Responsibilities: Analyze Supplier Score Card data and provide detailed and consolidated rating-input-data on plant and supplier level. Coordinate, facilitate, or lead required audits, PFMEA Go, See & Fix, and supplier visits activities. Conduct or direct applicable CQI Special process audits and maintain in Magna’s system. Support Plant SQ with Supplier Complaints and help solve Root Cause and Corrective actions of Supplier Nonconformance Events (S-NCE). Manage the assigned supply base through serial production, continuous improvement, change management, to the end of product life. Set annual targets with each supplier and drive quality improvements to meet or exceed targets. Participate, lead, and follow-up on supplier audits and activities resulting from audits and “Go & See” activities.
