What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer (SQA)/Quality Engineer (QE) (f/m/x) position at Sono Motors GmbH?
Your Tasks
As a Supplier Quality Engineer at Sono, you play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of the materials and components for our developed Solar Bus Kit (SBK) and other products sourced from our suppliers. This role spans from the handover of parts by development and product quality into series production, through to the handover of parts to our sales partners and customers, and includes addressing and resolving customer complaints and issues, potentially involving passing them on to suppliers. You are also responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining supplier quality standards, systems, and processes to ensure our products meet both internal and external quality requirements. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with teams from Supply Chain, Sales, Technical Integration, and Service, as well as with suppliers.
Responsibilities in detail
As you apply for this role, we would like to give you some insights into our company culture and organization. At Sono Motors, we replace the traditional employer-employee relationship with a partnership at eye level. When people transition from large organizations to Sono, we sometimes hear that they miss certain services, support, and infrastructure. We invite you to address these gaps with us. We see you as a creator of our company, not someone who only shows up to do their job. At Sono Motors, you take matters into your own hands, and you will achieve the desired impact. Our CEOs will work alongside you, and together with the entire Sono team, you will lead our organization. We expect you to take the initiative, contribute to our organizational development, accept imperfection, and communicate transparently. We call this #staysono; this is our culture.
About Us
Vision, motivation and professionalism. Creativity and trust. Love for our planet. All of this unites our current team of nearly 40 colleagues. Together we fight for our vision, which we want to achieve with a new strategy and focus of our company: Offering Solar Integration for the transportation industry.
Our technology is already being used by more than 25 B2B customers, who are testing our Solar Bus Kit and other solar integration solutions in a variety of vehicle architectures, including buses, refrigerated vehicles, cars and eTrucks/eVans.
