Plant Controller
Location: Pocahontas, AR
On-site 5 days per week
We're recruiting a Plant Controller for our client, a fast-growing, leading manufacturer located in Pocahontas, AR. This is a fully on-site position (Mon-Fri) working directly with their plant operations team.
Overseeing all manufacturing accounting at the facility, this hire will implement strong internal controls, take ownership over the full-cycle accounting process at this site.
Responsibilities
- Own the month-end close, year-end close, as well as budgeting and forecasting
- Oversee the profitability and overall performance of the plant
- Analyze manufacturing variances on a monthly and yearly basis
- Take charge of inventory accounting and cost accounting within a lean manufacturing environment
- Optimize labor, overhead, scrap, waste, and PPV
- Collaborate with Plant Operations leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Strong background at the Controller or Director level within a manufacturing environment
- Prior experience in Lean Manufacturing is a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, and an ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments
- Proven background in hiring and leading an accounting team
Base Salary: $140,000 - $160,000
