Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the seat assembly process. This includes working towards achieving continuous improvement in the areas of direct labor efficiency, first run capability, quality matrix and health and safety.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field with a minimum of three years of experience in a Manufacturing Operations Leadership role.
Knowledge in a variety of computer software applications
Significant Experience managing continuous improvement, product development, and industrialization projects highly preferred.
Six Sigma / Lean Certification preferred
Excellent systematic and problem solving skills, proficient in data analysis, and prior experience managing change, and implementation of new processes.
Essential Job Functions:
Safe and efficient operation of the production department.
Work closely with Shift Managers to provide guidance in dealing with routine personnel issues and disciplinary problems
Ensure Standards Work is documented, followed, and audited
Train and develop team members to enhance future potential.
Other related duties as assigned and/or needed to meet production/operational expectations.
