Job Responsibilities :
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITIONS :
- Lead engineering changes as per Drive procedure - on time / within budget / within procedure / proper documentation that can easily pass any required audits - total coordination.
- APQP and FMEA lead for engineering changes.
- Lead monthly RPN reduction meetings based upon high RPN values, customer concerns, high scrap rates and other concerns.
- Ensure feasibility studies and team review is completed as per engineering procedures.
- Weekly engineering change meeting attendance.
- Work closely with sales, accounting, and purchasing departments, Tier 2 suppliers, and tooling vendors to ensure commercial needs are met in conjunction with engineering changes. Corrective action team member.
- Weekly meet and greet with partner production teams / leads to ensure they feel supported properly by engineering
