Job Responsibilities: We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure our suppliers' quality and reliability and to act as the primary point of contact for our suppliers' production and process-related issues. Your Responsibilities: Ensure supplier quality and reliability. Support purchasing in supplier selection and timely parts availability. Serve as the main contact for supplier production and process issues. Manage the entire production process and product release. Implement immediate actions to support the production line. Prepare suppliers for production and product release. Collaborate on defining product specifications. Support and monitor suppliers in meeting requirements. Track deadlines and document activities. Initiate and verify corrective measures from manufacturing problems resulting from purchased parts. Encourage and support continuous improvement especially process variances at the supplier. Who we are looking for: Completed technical education (e.g., Associate's or Bachelor's degree) in fields such as Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Technology, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering. Several years of experience in the automotive or metal processing production environment (minimum 3 years). Communication, presentation, meeting, and negotiation skills. Experience in supplier quality (minimum 3 years) and 8D reporting. Your preferred qualifications: Knowledge of vehicle structure and function. Experience with plastics technology, injection molding, foaming, and deep-drawing processes. Familiarity with supplier management standards and special terms of major automotive manufacturers.
