The Training Coordinator reports to the HR Manager and is responsible for organizing, facilitating, and supervising training programs for new hire and incumbent employees.

Responsibilities

  • Identify training needs through documentation, interviews with employees, and consultation with leadership.
  • Facilitate training programs that address specific business needs.
  • Evaluate modes of training delivery, such as classroom or hands-on methods to optimize training effectiveness, training costs, and environmental impacts.
  • Evaluate organizational performance to ensure that training meets business needs and improves performance.
  • Assess employees' skills, performance, and productivity to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
  • Identify and select on-the-job trainers within the operation to optimize training effectiveness.
  • Drive company values and philosophy through all training and development activities.
  • Effectively communicate with team members, trainers, and management.
  • Foster a learning environment to facilitate individual and group training sessions
  • Select and manage resources, including working with both internal and external resources to develop and deliver training.
  • Utilize technologies and technical personnel required to develop, manage and deliver training.
  • Attend meetings or seminars to obtain information for use in training programs or to inform management of training program status.
  • Partner with HR and Operations to plan annual training calendar, updating as needed to meet business objectives.
  • Will perform other duties as assigned to support the training function of the business.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in training and development.
  • Experience in leadership roles, preferred.
  • Highly computer literate with proficiency in MS Office and related business and communication tools.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Track record in developing and executing training programs, preferred.
  • Critical thinker with innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Familiar with traditional and modern training processes.
  • Fantastic organizational and time management skills.
  • Strategic and creative mindset.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
