The Training Coordinator reports to the HR Manager and is responsible for organizing, facilitating, and supervising training programs for new hire and incumbent employees.
Responsibilities
- Identify training needs through documentation, interviews with employees, and consultation with leadership.
- Facilitate training programs that address specific business needs.
- Evaluate modes of training delivery, such as classroom or hands-on methods to optimize training effectiveness, training costs, and environmental impacts.
- Evaluate organizational performance to ensure that training meets business needs and improves performance.
- Assess employees' skills, performance, and productivity to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
- Identify and select on-the-job trainers within the operation to optimize training effectiveness.
- Drive company values and philosophy through all training and development activities.
- Effectively communicate with team members, trainers, and management.
- Foster a learning environment to facilitate individual and group training sessions
- Select and manage resources, including working with both internal and external resources to develop and deliver training.
- Utilize technologies and technical personnel required to develop, manage and deliver training.
- Attend meetings or seminars to obtain information for use in training programs or to inform management of training program status.
- Partner with HR and Operations to plan annual training calendar, updating as needed to meet business objectives.
- Will perform other duties as assigned to support the training function of the business.
