Program Planning and Execution:
As a Youth Development Professional, you will be responsible for planning and executing high-quality programs that cater to the needs of our members. This involves creating an engaging environment that fosters achievement of youth development outcomes, promoting program participation, registering new members, and providing guidance and role modeling. You will also demonstrate leadership in conduct, safety, and development of members, effectively implementing and administering programs, and monitoring and evaluating activities to ensure quality and appearance. Additionally, you will oversee proper record keeping and reporting, participate in staff meetings, and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, experience working with children, and knowledge of youth development. You should also possess the ability to motivate youth, manage behavior problems, and deal with the general public. Furthermore, you must be able to plan and implement quality programs, organize and supervise members in a safe environment, and hold CPR and First Aid Certifications. A valid State Driver's License is also required.
