We are seeking a highly skilled Computed Tomography Radiographer to join our team at Magnet Medical. As a Radiographer, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography scanners. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing patients for CT scans by explaining the procedure, answering questions, and ensuring they are comfortable.
- Positioning patients properly on the CT table to obtain the necessary images, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
- Operating and calibrating the CT scanner, ensuring proper settings for each scan, including parameters such as radiation dose, slice thickness, and imaging protocols.
- Reviewing CT images for quality, ensuring that all required areas are captured and the images meet diagnostic standards.
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A degree in radiologic technology or a related field.
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Experience working with CT scanners and other imaging equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
