Job Summary
Magnolia Capital is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Analyst, Client Services & SFR to join our dynamic team. This role will focus on supporting Single-Family Rental Asset Management (SFR AM) and Client Services, providing critical insights and reporting to drive business decisions. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong analytical skills, and is eager to grow within a real estate investment firm. A working knowledge of real estate operations is essential, along with the ability to stay organized, meet deadlines, and effectively communicate with cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is reliable, punctual, and personable, with a keen eye for detail.
This position is based out of our HQ in Chicago.
Essential Job Functions
The expected base salary for this position is $90,000-$95,000. The actual salary offered may differ based on several factors, such as location and experience. Additionally, this role is eligible for discretionary bonuses annual.

Essential Job Functions
- Focus on recurring reporting tasks and deck-building for SFR AM and Client Services.
- Manage weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting across multiple portfolios, including financial analysis and variance notes.
- Support ad-hoc requests and data gathering.
- Assist with RFP support, including deck development, attending pitch meetings, and financial analysis.
- Conduct secret shop analysis and build BTR (Build-To-Rent) financial mock-ups.
- Perform recurring valuation modeling and return projections.
- Provide fundraising support as needed.
- Contribute to company decks and maintain updated portfolio statistics.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Real Estate, or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in real estate finance, investment management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and deliver accurate results.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
