The ideal candidate will have experience in medical office procedures and exceptional organizational skills. *Responsibilities* - Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner - Schedule patient appointments using the clinic's scheduling system - Verify patient insurance coverage and process insurance claims - Collect patient copays and outstanding balances - Post patient payments - Perform clerical tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry - Utilize electronic health record systems like eClinicalWorks, AdvancedMD or Practice Fusion - Submit for preauthorizaultions for select services - Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries with proper phone etiquette *Experience* - Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role is preferred - Proficiency in computerized systems for scheduling and record-keeping - Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures - Knowledge of insurance verification processes is a plus
