Job Summary
The HR Manager at Magnolia Estates is a new role for our organization, and will play a pivotal part in developing and managing all aspects of the human resources function. This includes guiding and assisting in the hiring process, onboarding new employees, setting up benefits, and overseeing benefit programs. The HR Manager will also provide advice to managers on HR issues, manage staff issues and disciplinary procedures, and monitor and review hourly time cards and compensation. Additionally, the HR Manager will educate the team on the use of our systems such as ADP, Microsoft Office, Cirrus, and ClaytonGo.
Key Responsibilities
· Hiring Process Management: Manage and assist in the recruitment and hiring process, including job postings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations.
· Onboarding of New Employees: Coordinate and conduct the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they are properly oriented and integrated into the company culture.
· Setup and Oversight of Benefits Programs: Set up and manage employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
· HR Advice and Support: Provide advice and support to managers on various HR issues, including performance management, employee relations, and disciplinary procedures.
· Staff Issues Management: Handle staff issues and disciplinary procedures, ensuring they are resolved in a fair and timely manner.
· Time Cards and Compensation Review: Monitor and review hourly time cards, compensation, and payroll to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
· Systems Education: Educate the team on the use of company systems such as ADP, Outlook, Cirrus, and ClaytonGo. Provide ongoing training and support as needed.

· Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure a consistent and fair approach to employee management.
· Conduct regular audits of HR processes and systems to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
· Manage employee records and ensure they are accurate and up-to-date.
· Coordinate and facilitate employee training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
· Lead employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work environment and improve employee satisfaction and retention.
· Stay current with industry trends and best practices in HR management to ensure the company remains competitive and compliant.
Required Skills and Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources
· Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Proven ability to manage and resolve complex employee issues.
· Experience with systems such as ADP is highly desirable.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· High level of integrity and professionalism.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
· HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) is a plus, but not required
· Experience in the manufactured housing or retail industry.
· Knowledge of labor laws and regulations specific to the industry.
· Proficiency in developing and using systems for data management and reporting.
Compensation and Benefits
· Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 (full time), open to discussing a part time role
· Possibility for a remote work or hybrid work schedule.
